Yes, renters insurance is required at all Hannon Group properties. You must provide proof of renters insurance listing Hannon Group as an additional insured before keys can be released. You can purchase renters insurance through your tenant portal of from a third-party provider.
Yes, we allow pets at most of our properties with a limit of 2 per unit and an additional $25 monthly fee. However, breed and weight restrictions apply. Please check the listing details or contact our office.
A non-refundable pet fee is due at move-in, along with a monthly pet rent. Fees vary by property and number of pets.
Dogs and cats are welcome. Exotic animals, reptiles, and certain aggressive breeds are not permitted. We typically allow dogs up to 50 lbs. Larger pets are not permitted without special approval.
Yes, the security deposit is refundable as long as the lease terms are fulfilled, the property is left in good condition, and there are no outstanding charges.
The standard deposit is typically equal to one month’s rent, but this amount may vary based on credit and rental history.
Security deposits are returned within 30 days after move-out, in accordance with South Carolina law. You will also receive an itemized list of any deductions, if applicable.
Deductions may be made for unpaid rent, damages beyond normal wear and tear, missing items, or cleaning fees if the unit is not returned in move-in condition.
No, the security deposit cannot be applied toward your final month’s rent. It is held separately and returned after you move out and the unit is inspected.
